NSWPC

NSWPC under the auspices of the Australian Parachute Federation; promotes parachuting through the provision of services and amenities for members as well as fostering competition; raising funds and administration. By agreement with SQPC and VTPC, the Drop Zones of Byron Bay and Corowa are respectively administered by other State Councils. 

The NSW State Skydiving Championships are held annually over the October Long Weekend on the following rotational basis:

  • Even years – Newcastle Sport Parachute Club (NSPC) at Elderslie Airport (YEES)
  • Odd Years – SKYONE Moruya at Moruya Airport (YMRY)

The Australian Parachute Federation (APF) is the peak body for the administration, regulation and representation of Australian Sport Parachuting. This is achieved by promoting skydiving and maintaining a high level of safety and by improving the standard of Sport Parachuting to encourage participation and excellence in performance.
